PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES Member Training Fund Chair: Lisa Tamburelli The funds are awarded to members through raffles. Awards include registration for the California and Pacific Southwest Training Conference and Gamma bucks which are redeemable for events, program and memberships. The revenue for this program is generated at the August Business meeting, the September Share Fair, the Holiday Breakfast, and the January Workshop. Student Scholarship Award Program Chairs: Allison Lewis and Lyna Thoeun Each year, the Gamma Chapter coordinates a student scholarship program which provides support and recognition to women, for their personal and professional enrichment through education.
Many of our past scholarship recipients have gone on to have successful careers in the field of leisure and community services.
Professional Mentoring Program Chairs: jaNell Adams and Marina Rabinovich Gamma's mentoring program fosters relationships among full-time professionals, new members, students and Gamma scholarship receipients to encourage member participation and retention.
