Women in Leisure Services is a national organization for professional women involved in the delivery of leisure and community services in private, commercial and municipal settings.A network of chapters serves administrators, supervisors, educators, therapists and armed forces professionals in defined geographic areas throughout the country.

Chapter Objectives

Meetings, educational workshops and networking programs occur monthly from August to May. Gamma Chapter objectives are:

To provide a forum for women to exchange ideas in order to keep updated on industry trends.

To develop training programs for professional and personal development.

To offer recognition and advancement for women in the leisure and community services profession.

To foster friendships, self-enrichment and a member network for professional assistance.
